
Inspired by the art work depicted on the television series Mad Men which portrays parts of society and culture of the 1960's; 10 talented artists and photographers will feature work stimulated by the best Abstract Expressionist, Pop Artists, Op Artists and Post-Minimalist Artists of the 1960's.

Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule (e.g. "The adjective noun adverb verb the adjective noun") or by being allowed to see the end of what the previous person contributed. First we created an elaborate still life including a skeleton, millions of flowers, vegetation and fruit. We then took a large piece of paper that was folded into thirds and instructed the first artist to recreate the top third of the still life. The second artist could only see the edge of what the first artist had created and was asked to add the second third of the still life onto that. As each guest entered The Saint on Saturday night, to attend the Mad Men Artvi show, each was asked to participate in our ongoing collective art project, known as Exquisite Corpse. They were told the last word and they added on two words of their own.
